What is the Improv Academy

The Improv Academy is an Improv School that teaches Character-Based Improv. Improv is a stress-free artistic outlet. Actors/Writers who have been improvising for over 50 years still do it every week.
Each successive course teaches skills that build on prior courses. It takes time to develop these techniques. Repetition helps get it in your bones. Students are encouraged to take levels more than once as there are no diminishing returns. You need to be proficient with "juggling" before you can move on to "juggling while riding a unicycle" . . . and making it look easy.
Acting skills are not required, but they help. If you have acting skills, improv improves them.
